New Work: NMS Winter Forum for Endowments & Foundations Website

TOKY recently launched an event site for NMS Management, a premier investor-education company based out of New York. NMS puts on several forums each year, providing educational programming to its members, who are mostly senior investment professionals.

The company’s upcoming Winter Forum for Endowments & Foundations is a members-only event taking place in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the end of this month. NMS wanted to highlight their impressive speaker list, share news and updates, list activities and hotel information, and outline the schedule for the forum.

As participants planned to attend the event, NMS wanted the site to be simple to navigate and the information easy to find. Huge photos of Arizona’s landscape set the tone on the homepage, while tabs provide hassle-free navigation.

We programmed this site in Drupal, an open-source content management system. As you’ll see if you click through, the site is password-protected — but we’ll provide you with a sneak-peek below:

The interactive image grid rearranges itself to fit the width of the user’s browser.

Using Drupal, NMS can easily update the schedule and provide the latest information to attendees.

Pecha Kucha Night Roars into STL

Pano 1

The first Pecha Kucha Night in St. Loo was an electrifying success tonight at BRIDGE, the new downtown (and under downtown) nightspot. Organized by members of HOK Architects, TOKY, Switch and lots of other great folks, the evening gathered a standing-room-only crowd (beyond the fire marshal’s liking) to listen to 14 great presenters talk about how to move our region forward. The beer was great, the conversation wonderful, the passion evident, the sparks tangible. Let’s do it again February 20 in a PK Night for Haiti. See pkstl.com for details.

The event is January 28th, at the Foundation in downtown St. Louis. Show up early, this event is limited to the first 200 people!

The Unconscious Poster

unconsious-poster

The band, the Unconscious, was originally formed in 1986. Their popularity grew through the late 80s and into 1990  (when they broke up). They recently came back together for a 3-show Labor Day Weekend reunion tour. Now they are reunited full time.

TOKY did the poster for the Labor Day Weekend reunion performance in St. Louis at Blueberry Hill (which sold out). The poster was hand drawn in pencil by TOKY designer Mary. We recently reissued the poster with updated details about their upcoming show at the end of December:
